🇫🇷 THE AMERICAN MONTH, MAY 2023

MARTHA GRAHAM • ISADORA DUNCAN • JOSÉ LIMÓN
The legacy of American Modern Dance

In May 2023, Graham For Europe is happy to present a special program around the American Modern Dance culture of the 20th century.

From Isadora Duncan, one of the Modern Dance pioneers, to Martha Graham, among the second generation and known as “mother of Modern Dance”, through José Limón, third generation of modern dancer in the United-States…

Experience the legacy of American Modern Dance in France through various events: cross-practice weekends in Paris and Lyon, a dance intensive, a conference at University Paris VIII and a performance at the heart of Paris.

We are so honored to welcome different guests, all experts in their field.

Such as Blakeley White-McGuire, Daniel Fetecua, Elisabeth Schwartz, Julie Dubois, Lucile Jorba Y Campo, Rafael Molina.
