Claire is originally from southern California. She received her main training from the Martha Graham school in New York, where she was part of the professional training program in 2018-2020. She studied under Lone Larsson, Virginie Mécène, Susan Kikuchi, Elisabeth Auclair, Ben Schultz, Miki Orihara, and Denise Vale. Alongside technique, she studied and performed repertoire such as Heretic, Appalachian Spring, Night Chant, and Diversion of Angels. During this time she was very involved with the school, participating in student choreographies, and in personal exchange with guests like Yung Yung Lerner and Nya Bowman. She has worked as a dancer since 2022 around Switzerland, Germany, and France, and continues to use the Graham technique to inform all of her artistic work. Her mission is to transmit the technique in a way to serve today's contemporary dancer while maintaining the root and beauty of this traditional modern technique.
