1 Christophe Jeannot

Christophe Jeannot studied dance at the Conservatoire de Nantes and at the CNDC in Angers. He then pursued his training at the Martha Graham School in New York. Former principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company, he performed nationally and internationally with the company from 1998 to 2005. While in New York , he also performed with The Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company, the Pearl Lang Dance Theatre, among others. Back in Europe, Christophe worked with choreographers such as Flora Théfaine (Nantes), Thierry Smits (Brussels). More recently, he collaborated with choreographer Elise Lerat (Nantes) on her last two creations "Feux" and "Rêve et Ivresse".

Teaching credits include the Martha Graham School, the Tapei National University of the Arts, Trinity Laban Summer School (London), Free Art Fusion (Warsaw), Graham for Europe. He was a faculty member at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and at the Conservatoire de Nantes. He now teaches at Studio de la Danse in Nantes and freelance. Trained at the EFYO, Christophe also teaches yoga.

1 Tancredo Tavarez

Born in the Dominican Republic, Tancredo Starts his dance instruction and professional career in 1984, under the tutelage of Eduardo Villanueva. He leaves Santo Domingo in 1988 under a one year full pedagogical scholarship with the school of Ballet Nacional de México (today the Centro de Danza Contemporanea CENADAC, in Querétaro, México); at its term Tancredo is offered a full scholarship at the Martha Graham School, and shortly after is integrated in the Martha Graham Ensemble (today’s Graham 2). In the autumn of 1989 Tancredo is invited to join The Martha Graham Company, where he danced major works of the Graham repertory until an accident late 1993 abruptly interrupted his stage career. Subsequently Tancredo was invited by Diane Gray to integrate the faculty at the Martha Graham School, followed by Denise Jefferson’s invitation to join the faculty at the Alvin Ailey School, where he was also trusted a class for the Actors Studio and another for teenagers at The Professional Performing Arts School-PPAS; Tancredo was also invited in the dance faculty at Lehman College (City University of New York-CUNY).

In 1997 Tancredo moves to France, where he obtains a dispensation for the Diplôme d’etat as a dance Teacher due to his confirmed experience in the field, and is invited into the faculty at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional du Grand Avignon where he taught the Martha Graham Technique until 2003. In 1999, he became a beneficiary of the Certificat d'aptitude option danse contemporaine (Ministère de la Culture Française). In September 2004, he was invited by Maurice Béjart and Michel Gascard to join the teaching faculty of the Ecole-atelier Rudra Béjart, a position he held until 2021.

Presently Tancredo resides in Paris as a freelance Teacher of the Graham Technique and Personal Trainer.

1 Iris Florentiny

Iris Florentiny is a graduate of the Graham School and a former dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company. She toured with the company from 2010 to 2014. She currently teaches Graham Technique at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and the Paris Opera Ballet School.

1 Lucile Jorba Y Campo

Lucile Jorba Y Campo is a graduate of the Martha Graham School and was a member of Graham 2 from 2011 to 2013. She currently lives in Lyon where she has given Graham Technique workshops and masterclasses at the Cie Aufait/Fabrik d'Artistes, the University of Lyon 3, and l’Atelier 9 with whom she still collaborates also for Graham Cross-practice. She also occasionally teaches Graham Technique Masterclasses at Studio Harmonic in Paris.

1 Rafael Molina

Rafael Molina is a French artist, researcher and Graham Technique teacher based in Paris. Trained at the Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Étienne, he graduated in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Rafael also holds a degree from Sciences Po Paris and is an alumnus of the Martha Graham School in New York City, where he performed Graham repertory with Graham 2. Over the course of his career, he has danced neoclassical ballet roles and contemporary works, performing in the United States, France, Spain, Israel, Ireland, and Singapore.

As the founder and Artistic Director of Graham For Europe, Rafael is dedicated to preserving and expanding the legacy of Martha Graham. In 2019, with funding from the Centre National de la Danse, he conducted a research project on Graham educational practices. This initiative took him around the world, where he interviewed over 30 Graham Technique teachers, delving deeply into the fundamental principles and concepts of Graham’s work.

Rafael teaches Graham principles in various institutions all over Europe. He believes in a modern and innovative pedagogy. His approach respects individual specificities and encourages autonomy. He creates a safe space for his students to explore their singularities as individuals/artists, in order to unlock possibilities for artistic interpretation.

1 Jean-Baptiste Ferreira

Jean-Baptiste started studying Graham in 2012 at IFPRO, Paris. He then carried on his training at the Martha Graham School, where he graduated from in 2017. As a member of Graham 2, he performed Graham works from 2015 to 2017. Since he moved back to Paris, he has been teaching Graham technique ocasionally at IFPRO, Pôle Supérieur d'Enseignement Artistique de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt, CDCN du Val-de-Marne, CNSMD Paris and Studio Harmonic.

1 Margaux Steiner

Margaux started dancing at the CMA6 while doing a lot of theatre. She starts a professional dancer training at IFPRO where she discovered the Graham Technique, she then joined the Martha Graham Dance School in New York in 2018 and graduated from the Teacher Training Program in 2021. She spent a final year in this city bewitching for her projects and she danced in a Musical, Triangle Cruise. Recently back in France, she began to teach the Graham Technique in 2022 at IFPRO and in the Studio Harmonic.

1 Axel Gérard

Axel began is training at the Center de Formation de la Danse in Cergy before discovering the Graham Technique at IFPRO in Paris from 2017 to 2019. He then joined the Martha Graham School in NYC where he graduated from the Teacher Training Program in 2022 and performed the repertoire with Graham 2. Recently back in France, he danced with the SAGE company.

Pendant sa formation à l’IPRO, Anouck intègre le Jeune Ballet Jazz et obtient son Diplôme d’Etat de professeur de danse. En 2019, elle part ensuite à New York où elle intègre la Martha Graham School. Depuis son retour à Paris, elle enseigne dans diverses centres et écoles notamment la technique Graham(™).

During her training at IFPRO, Anouck joined the Jeune Ballet Jazz and earned her State Diploma as a dance teacher. In 2019, she moved to New York to study at the Martha Graham School. Since returning to Paris, she has been teaching at various centers and schools, including classes in Graham Technique.

Laureen Elizabeth is a graduate of the Martha Graham School and was a member of Graham 2 from 2009 to 2012. She regularly taught at the Académie de danse Vanessa Feuillatte in the Bordeaux area and all over the South west region. She is now in Biarritz. Teaching credits also include the Martha Graham School and Peridance in NYC as well as the IFPRO in Paris.

Benjamin is a graduate of the Martha Graham School and was a member of Graham 2 from 2010 to 2012. He taught for the Martha Graham School Teens Program from 2012 to 2015. He moved back to Paris and occasionally teaches the Graham Technique at the Centre de Danse du Marais.

1 Frank Ashley

MONTPELLIER, FRANCE

Frank Ashley trained at the Martha Graham School for more than ten years with many company members, including Martha Graham herself. He performed with the Martha Graham Dance Company in 1969-70. He taught at the Martha Graham School and in Europe. He then moved to New Caledonia in 2004 where he taught the Graham Technique at Atelier 6. He is now back in Montpellier.

1 George Gatecloud dit Bellecroix

George Catecloud dit Bellecroix learnt the Graham Technique with two teachers from NYC he assisted: Yuriko Kikuchi and Anna Mitteholzer. He has been teaching this technique in Paris since 1973 and is currently at the Centre de danse du Marais where his classes are open to all. Teaching credits also include major dance centers in Europe such as the Statens balletthøgskole in Oslo, the Centre Nationale de Danse in Brugge and the Isola Danza during the Venise Biennale.

1 Maggie Boogaart

Maggie Boogaart learnt the Graham Technique at the London Contemporary Dance School as well as at the Martha Graham School, where she studied from 1994 to 1997. She taught the Graham Technique in the Netherlands between 1998 and 2010: Theaterschool Amsterdam, Codarts Rotterdam, ArteZ Arnhem, Fontys Tilburg and Danshuis Haarlem. She then moved to Paris where she co-founded the Paris Marais Dance School.

1 Pasqualina Noel

Pasqualina Noel is a graduate of the Martha Graham School and was a member of the Graham Ensemble from 1988 to 1992. In the 90's, she taught in Moscow and at the Choreographic Institute of Almaty in Kazakhstan. Back in Paris in 1999, she taught at the IFPRO. Since 2010, she has been an associate professor at the CNSMD and co-founded ACTS / Ecole de danse contemporaine de Paris in 2013.
